Coursepad is built to keep your information yours. In plain terms: Coursepad does not collect your data.
Nothing. Coursepad has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services. The developer cannot see your courses, grades, assignments, or any other content you enter.
Everything you enter is stored locally on your device. If you turn on sync, your data is stored in your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. That data is tied to your Apple ID and is accessible only to you; it is never sent to the developer or any third party.
If you grant calendar access, Coursepad reads your device calendar only to display your events alongside your class schedule. This is read-only and happens entirely on your device. Coursepad never modifies, uploads, or shares your calendar events.
Coursepad schedules local notifications on your device to remind you about classes and assignments. These are generated on-device; no push server is involved.
Coursepad does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
